José has extensive experience in the wind industry in Costa Rica since 1996, starting as a plant engineer and manager in different energy projects across Costa Rica and Central America. Over recent years he has worked extensively as a senior wind and solar resource analyst and potential site evaluator. He has broad practice with WindPro®, WASP®, Wind Farmer®, Meteonorm, PVSyst and WindSim® (microscale CFD), the latter being the state of the art in the industry. He holds WindSim basic and advanced certifications.

Paulo has vast experience in meteorology and renewable energy, first as Director of Costa Rica's National Meteorological Institute and later as a senior analyst. He brings extensive consulting experience oriented to all stages of the life cycle of wind and solar energy projects. Thanks to his professional knowledge in meteorology, he has broad experience in short and mid-term prediction (weeks, days, hours · "Nowcasting") of wind and solar resources for optimal dispatch planning of intermittent sources.
